Kathmandu Model School
An English Medium Co-educational school.
The school was founded in 1994 AD (2050 B.S.) to provide quality education to children from beginners (PG) to grade Ten (X). It is situated at Ropeway Sadak, Khusibun, KMC ward no 17. It provides comprehensive quality education to children. This school is established with the aim of providing intellectual, mental & physical development to children by applying a holistic education system by its qualified, experienced, trained, and dedicated teaching staff.
Kathmandu Model School has completed its glorious 30 years of providing quality education. Initially, we had followed the traditional education system for teaching at our school. Over the course of time, Kathmandu Model School realized the importance of a holistic education system in school. Knowing that the introduction of the holistic education system in traditional education is a challenging job, we teamed up experienced faculty with sound strategy and creative vision, which successfully worked out for these 11 years. We are continuously attempting to complete the uprising in the teaching and learning process and bring about visible changes in it.

Seminar and Workshop
Seminars and workshops are important part of the curriculum for enhancing the overall performance of the students. Realizing that we have planned to conduct seminars and workshops from time to time with help of teachers, guest, mentors and experts.

Our school canteen provides nutritious, hygienic, and wholesome meals to fuel students’ minds and bodies throughout the day. With a focus on balanced diets and healthy eating habits, it supports overall well-being and creates a positive, energized learning environment for every student.
Excursion
Excursion and educational tour is the most essential to boost up their knowledge with its fact in practical life. Students are given frequent excursion and education tour to make them familiar with different sites of historical and cultural importance thereby strengthening the theoretical knowledge.
Swimming
Swimming classes are an important part of holistic education, promoting physical fitness, water safety, and confidence. Regular swimming sessions help students develop essential life skills, improve coordination, and encourage a healthy, active lifestyle—all while learning in a fun and supportive environment.
Montessori Lab
Our Montessori Lab offers a nurturing, child-centered environment where young learners can explore, discover, and grow at their own pace. With thoughtfully designed materials and trained educators, it encourages independence, creativity, and hands-on learning—building a strong foundation for lifelong curiosity and confidence.
Sports
Our school promotes sports like table tennis, football, and basketball to build teamwork, discipline, and physical well-being. Regular practice and inter-school matches help students develop strategic thinking, coordination, and a competitive spirit in a healthy, supportive environment.
Music
